Tell us when you’d like to go, where you’d like to visit, and what kind of activities you’re excited about. You can pick from our list or write your own ideas — and you can choose more than one!
2. Get a Smart Model Plan
Our AI will instantly create a draft travel plan just for you. You can review it, tweak it, and make sure it matches what you have in mind.
3. Open Your Plan to Friends
Once you’re happy, your plan is shared with our local Friends (trusted hosts and guides).
4. Friends Respond Within 24 Hours
Friends who love your plan will raise their hand within 24 hours and send back a detailed itinerary using our FrienTrip format (including prices).
If your trip crosses prefectures, different Friends can step in for each region.
5. See Your Options
After 24 hours, you’ll see:
- Profiles of Friends who applied
- Their itineraries and prices
- A clear breakdown showing the proposal fee + our service fee (20%)
If there are many options, you’ll be able to filter and sort (by budget, reviews, date fit, etc.).
And if no one applies? Don’t worry — we’ll suggest a new plan more likely to attract Friends.
6. Choose Your Friend & Chat
Pick the Friend who feels right for you and start chatting directly inside FrienTrip to fine-tune the details.
7. Seal the Deal
Once you both agree on the trip and price, the booking is confirmed with a simple click.
8. Easy Payment
Pay securely through Stripe. Your payment is held safely until your trip is completed.
9. Enjoy Your Trip
Meet your Friend, follow your itinerary, and experience your trip in the best way possible.
10. Wrap-Up & Payment Release
After your journey, confirm everything went smoothly.
FrienTrip then transfers 90% of the agreed fee to your Friend.
